Most people who claim they are a part of the music business (i.e., managers, agents, scouts, etc.) are not. As a matter of fact, they don't even know what the music business actually is. If anything, all they know is a few minor contacts in a club or two. The majority of aspiring recording artists that make it as far as a record deal ... fall prey to the music industry sharks!

Unless lightening strikes twice for the recording artist (they write another hit record), they will disappear after their one hit record has run its course.
